The biggest trait we parents must instil in today’s children is tolerance and empathy; the ability to follow our own traditions and events without putting down or carrying hatred in our hearts for people belonging to other cultures and religions.
So how to make them understand our roots, our history and culture while explaining the reasoning behind other people’s traditions especially when it comes to events like Easter, Halloween or Christmas which Muslims do not celebrate.I have always been confused about this dilemma until I came across this post on Facebook.
